Reviews for Spooky Buddies (DVD) Typical Buddies film - if you've gotten considered one, you've viewed all of them. Nothing of particular word about this one... but each my 9yo and 6yo LOVED it. The 9yo supposes it is one of the best of the Buddies movies.
Reviews for Spooky Buddies (DVD) This is the primary Buddies movie I have watched, so I can't compare it to the opposites. The very first factor I have to say is that the puppies are cute, the youngersters are charming, and the set is colourful. The 2nd thing is that (at the risk of sounding picky) this film is mainly a remake of the Disney film Hocus Pocus with a quantity of minor adjustments, totally different actors, and of course including the puppies. Hocus Pocus has at all times been one in all my very favourite vacation motion pictures, however I am in reality stunned that Disney produced this Buddies film with basically the EXACT similar story line. Were they brief on authors or quick on creativity? If you have considered Hocus Pocus, you'll be amazed on the similarities.
The story opens in a tremendous outdated house up to now, just seventy five 12 monthss in the past vs. 300 yrs, and units up the entire story for present day Halloween in a small town. Instead of three witches who are introduced back to lifestyles by a candle, it's a warlock introduced again to lifestyles by a mirror. Instead of sucking the life out of youngersters, the warlock desires the souls of 5 puppies (not as horrifying as it sounds).
