Reviews for Something Borrowed (DVD) I cherished the movie and saw it twice within the first weekend. Ginnfer and Colin did a nice job. Colin reminds me of a young Tom Cruise however higher. He appears soulful, take care ofs to play the persona with integrity and offers great glances! A should see.
Reviews for Something Borrowed [Blu-ray] (Blu-ray) At first, I did not need to see this movie, the trailer used to be uninteresting and now not very humorous. Then finally I made up our thoughtss to go see it and no longer decide it, John Krasinski from the Office is in it. So, I received myself a cheap ticket and watched it within the theater. I in truth sniggered and concept it was once beautiful excellent, no longer the best film ever but it's worth observing a couple of times. I think this can be a excellent condominium, it has a number of excellent giggles.

I understand the rankings for this have been far and wide, so I wanted to position in my two cents, which might be that supplyn what it was once, I cherished it!
Now none of you recognize me, so that you dont notice how momentous that statement is, coming from me of all people. While yes, I am feminine, I hate - *utterly loathe* - American romantic comedies. I absolutely cannot stand them and the only one hundred percent exceptions are Bringing Up Baby from 1938 and When Harry Met Sally ... from 1989. So sure, it is been awhile given that I discovered person who broke the rule of thumb.
I wanted to see this film, both on account of the actors (love Goodwin and Krasinski) and because it's a narrative (we hope) where the shy, quiet girl gets the fellow. However, I went ready to dislike it for 2 causes. First, I was *very* anxious concerning the premise involving that which you may imagine cheating, in view that I even have bother even studying about it in guides or staring at movies like Closer. Second, it's a romantic comedy! How could I possibly prove liking it?!
Turns out, I used to be lifeless mistaken. SOMETHING BORROWED was once hysterical - the writing was great and the supply excellent. The solid used to be additionally superb: John Krasinski, whom I adore in The Office, used to be hands-down unbelievably improbable in his role; Ginnifer Goodwin, an attractive and proficient actress, plays her section to perfection; and Colin Egglesfield, a quiet and subtle actor, makes for a super Dex. Darcy (Kate Hudson's personality) is ridiculously excessive, however whatever - I was in a position to overlook it in the face of all that used to be right with this film.
Also, this movie was once in a position to do what those on this genre frequently cannot do: it was ready to be slightly realistic, while still giving us a ravishing happy ending - no sappiness or corniness involved (two of my primary objections to romance movies). The main personas trip up - time and again - and once in a while you need to slap some of them upside the head (... was once that simply me?), nevertheless it really feels very genuine! And re: the love triangle, I assume probably the most things that made it feel all the more authentic was once the very real predicament that Rachel, Dex, and Darcy are faced with.
